Venue description
The magnificent Ballroom accommodates up to 200 guests in banqueting style and 300 people for cocktail functions. The Prospect Room can accommodate up to 300 delegates in cinema style and 400 people for a cocktail function. The Attic Room accommodates up to 60 delegates. For personalized service and attention to details, the intimate Club Room accommodates up to 18 delegates. For a private meeting or intimate dinner, La Chouette is the ideal venue accommodating up to 20 delegates in stylish comfort.
Conference equipment
Overhead projector, slide projector (35mm carousel), projection screens, lectern, PA system, laser pointer, VHS with monitor and flip chart. Special features include background music, dance floor and stage pieces. Arrangements can be made for portable PA system, multiple slide shows, lighting, laser light shows, etc. Rooms have independently controlled house lights, air-conditioning and wall to wall carpeting.
Accommodation
20 Double rooms, 30 king rooms, 42 twin rooms, 45 twin double rooms, 15 executive suites, two disabled accessible rooms. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, colour television with CNN and Mnet.
Recreational activities
Art galleries, game parks, botanical gardens, arts and crafts, diamond-cutting works, mine museums, historical monuments, tours can be booked and organized with concierge.
Location
The hotel is centrally located providing the business executive with easy access to the Johannesburg CBD, Rosebank, Sandton and the OR Tambo International Airport. A shuttle service to and from the airport is available upon request.
