SAACI has rolled out their seven newly established forums - Conferences & Events, Venue, Services, Destination Marketing, Exhibition, Transport and Technical - to branch level. SAACI encourages their members to talk to their regional forum chairpersons. They have been elected because of their expertise in their fields; they understand the realities of doing business in their sectors and can add real value to members' businesses. Use this opportunity to make SAACI work for you.

The special interest groups (forums) within SAACI represent the interests and issues of organisations and individuals in the conference, meetings and events industry.

SAACI currently has seven forums, each with its own committee comprising representatives from each branch.

The SAACI Conference and Events forum (C&E forum) is a special interest group within the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI). This forum represents organisations and individuals in the conference, meetings and events industry who specialise in conference and event management. The forum sets minimum professional standards and otherwise contributes to the credibility, awareness and regulation of the professional.

By establishing an accreditation process, a code of conduct, and an arbitration body, the Conference & Events forum has effectively raised the professional standards, ethics and accountability of member organisations.
