Arnaldo Nardone, President of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), will address delegates at the 2012 annual congress of the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI).

The Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI) has become a member of the Convention Industry Council (CIC).

SAACI has rolled out their seven newly established forums - Conferences & Events, Venue, Services, Destination Marketing, Exhibition, Transport and Technical - to branch level. The 2011 national conference of the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI) will be held at the NH Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West from 24 to 26 July.

The board elections at the general assembly of the 49th ICCA congress took place in Hyderabad, India, last week and the second VP of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) is now Nina Freysen-Pretorius, the national chairperson of the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI).

The incoming ICCA president is Arnaldo Nardone of the Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza Hotel.
