Discover the gem of the bushveld… Monate Game Lodge is an elegant and peaceful breakaway retreat where guests can enjoy the tranquility of the bush whilst being treated like royalty. Being only 2 hours from OR Tambo and a malaria-free location makes us ideal for the perfect weekend or corporate getaway. Delectable meals are served in different settings, such as our unique natural cave, in the open bush or around the lodge camp fire.

Monate is home to rhino, buffalo, hippo, crocodiles, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, brown hyena, a variety of antelope and are part of a cheetah rehabilitation project. Monate Game Lodge is Limpopo’s best kept secret!

Our air-conditioned conference rooms sport wireless Internet and mobile signal.

Conference equipment

All standard equipment. Data projector, TV and DVD player.

Accommodation

Air-conditioned rustic suites set in manicured gardens. Full en-suite bathrooms, tea / coffee and hairdryers. Two luxury tented suites, Rushton and Hampton, each with open access to a private sundeck and pool.

Recreational activities

Game drives, horse trails, cheetah project, pools, Jacuzzi, putt-putt, gym, swingball, trampolines, volleyball and table tennis.

Two hours from OR Tambo and 1.5 hours from Pretoria. Just off the N1. Malaria Free
